Do you have questions before booking an appointment?
This section addresses the most common inquiries about the role of the psychologist, how sessions are conducted, practical details, and confidentiality.

If you don’t find your answer here, feel free to contact me directly.

What is the difference between a psychologist and a psychotherapist?

A psychologist is a professional who has completed a recognized Master’s degree in psychology. They are trained in psychological assessment, emotional support, active listening, and prevention.
A psychotherapist has undergone additional training in psychotherapy recognized by the Swiss Confederation and can offer psychotherapeutic treatments that are reimbursed by basic health insurance in Switzerland (with a medical referral).
I am a psychologist, not a psychotherapist: I support you during times of questioning, stress, or change, without entering into a medical therapeutic framework.

Who are the consultations for?

For adults who wish to have a neutral, confidential, and supportive space to discuss their difficulties, without a medical approach. No diagnoses are made, and no prescriptions are issued.

What types of consultations do you offer?

I offer psychological support sessions, active listening, guidance, and more (see the “About” and “Home” sections for details).
Topics may include personal, professional, emotional, or relational difficulties.

In which languages are consultations available?

Consultations can be held in French, English, or Russian, depending on your preference. Feel free to indicate your language choice when booking your appointment.

How long does a session last?

A standard session lasts about 60 minutes. Shorter or longer formats can be arranged depending on your needs.

Can I come for just one session?

Absolutely. Some people come for a one-time consultation to clarify a situation or gain perspective. There is no long-term commitment required.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes, sessions can be held remotely via secure video conferencing, especially if you are unable to attend in person in Geneva.

How much does a session cost?

120 CHF per 60-minute individual session.

240 CHF per 90-minute couples session.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Sessions with a psychologist who is not a psychotherapist are not reimbursed by basic health insurance (LAMal). Some complementary or international insurances may cover part of the cost – I recommend checking directly with your provider.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. As a psychologist recognized by the FSP (Swiss Federation of Psychologists) or registered with the Swiss psychology professions registry (PsyReg), I am bound by strict professional confidentiality.

How can I book an appointment?

Appointments are booked exclusively online through the OneDoc platform. You can choose a time slot that suits you directly on my profile.
